Auto Transport FAQ
What happens in case of damage?
In case of any damages the best approach is to first try and
sort out things with the shipping company itself. Most
companies will agree if the damage has been caused while
transit and they are usually prepared for such things. In
case the shipping company is not taking any responsibility
then you should try and approach agencies like Better
Business Bureau or others in your respective city.
What is the mode of payment?
Most companies will take an advance and take the final
amount when the car is delivered to you. It is rare that any
company would demand the entire money upfront even before
the shipping takes place. It is also better for the customer
because he can pay after the car is delivered. The company
would accept cash or cashiers cheque which can be paid to
the truck driver or the inspector whoever is available while
taking the delivery of the vehicle.

A good shipping company w ill have good customer support
service where they provide you with the facility o track
your car at any time you want. Some companies also give the
driver’s number to the customer so that they can find out.
Many trucks and vehicles these days come with GPS systems
which makes it possible for the truck to be tracked down
anywhere it is. The customers can also call up the shipping
company to know where their car is and on which route it is
traveling so that they can plan the delivery time on their
own.
